Stormy, I'm not sure about food, but I used to think cell phones were OK to use while driving and that people were over-reacting to the issue. More and more I get caught behind people on cell phones and I swear they drive the same as the intoxicated! I probably sound like an ol fogey, but people just cannot seem to do these 2 things safely.
I have a friend that owns an insurance agency and he is wealthy. They charge waaaaay too much and the government endorses the pricing.
Rick - Old fogey! I feel the same way. I think you should have to take a test before you can use a cell phone in a car. If you can't rub your tummy & pat your head at the same time...you can't use it while the car is moving.
PQ - I know! I couldn't imagine eating a taco in the car even if I was just a passenger. And who is eating chili while driving? That's just masochistic.
I can't imagine eating a taco while driving also. What a MESS! I'm with you guys on the cell phone/driving thing. I know I automatically slow down when I talk on my phone (which is not often and only if someone calls me I can NOT dial and drive) and your right Rick, they do drive like people who are intoxicated. Very deliberate.
I was surprised to see sodas on the list because they seem easy to manage to me. I was also surprised to see chili. Who in the world would try to eat anything from a bowl while driving?

Not me. Hell, I can't even eat a taco right sitting at a table with a napkin as a bib!!! I sure wouldn't try it in a moving vehicle! ;)

Cakes - I actually think I was driving behind a woman eating a taco yesterday. Every 2 minutes she was slamming on her brakes for no apparent reason.

I wondered that too. I mean one hand to hold the bowl and one hand to use the spoon...how do you hold the steering wheel???
Useless Man - If you can eat a taco without getting it on you and without wrecking the car....I bow to your greatness ;)
No man is useless...there are always spiders to be squashed. Thanks for stopping by!
