For Sale
Needless to say, I didn't want to come back. If you had this view from your house everyday would you want to come back to reality?
Vacation was great. I forgot what it was like to get sand in certain areas of my bathing suit (yeck) but otherwise I loved my week at the beach. As usual. I don't know why I just don't give it up and move down there. Playing in the water. Picking up sea shells. Fish nibbling at your toes. Watching hot, young studs stroll along the sand. Ahhhhh......
I did figure out one thing while I was there. I will never...EVER...date a man who can't pick up after himself. I am not your Momma. You can take your empty Coke can and half-eaten bologna sandwich to the garbage just as easily as I can. Sheesh.

I have always fantasized about running away and moving to a beach somewhere too. I always said I'd open up a Tiki Bar/Tshirt hut and change my name to Lola or something. LOL. Wouldn't it be lovely?!
You're young and single...if you really wanna do it - go for it. Why the heck not? I know a gal who did this a few years ago--just up and moved to Florida, then found a job. She's never regretted it...that lucky bum!
yeah, married with three kids. No more up and moving to the beach for me! Hope you had a great time and glad you're back.. (of course, you can be back from the beach as well as North Georgia!)
Welcome back looks liek you had fun esp with the sand and stud I mean sun.
Were Coke cans and bologna sandwiches littering the beach? If so, I can understand that. Shame to spoil a nice beach.
Welcome back. But think, if you lived at the beach, you might not appreciate it as much after awhile.
But then again, you might appreciate it more.
Glad you had a great time at the beach! Would you really give it all up and move there? I think you should!
I'm with you on the not cleaning up after the men!
Were you on vacation with my son???
RG - I found the perfect job...see those green umbrellas in the pic? They rent for $25/day each. All I have to do is set them up then lay on the beach all day and take the $$. Is that great or what??????
Gary - I did have a great time. You could still move....you just have to convince everyone else in the family.
SJ - Sun? There was sun? lol. Watching the young ex-Air Force stud run around in his swimming suit all day was well worth the trip.
X - No, sadly a condo-mate mistook the women in the group as his personal maids. I have my lazy moments too but sheesh!!
Cherry - Love the new pic! I don't know...I'm still considering it. But starting over...I've done it once. I'm not sure I want to do it again.
7 - If he's 30 and still expects everyone to wipe his arse then yes...I was. lol.
Funny, but I've never liked the beach. When we went there as a kid, I would only swim in the pool. Live fish are gross.
Welcome home. Get back to work.
Follow your dreams Babe while you still can! Missed you though. Ack I can't like half-eaten bologna lying around.
Welcome back Ange :)
Glad you have a lovely time relaxing, shame about the sand getting in all the um crevices. And like you, I'm not keen on dating anyone that can't pick up after themselves...who's gonna pick my stuff up if he doesn't? lol
Good to have you back.
(oh and one more thing, young, free with no dependants? I'd go for it, if it's what you really want to do!)
Angie..
Sounds like you had a wonderful time other than the man thing.. Are there men that pick up after themselves???.. ok only kidding.. mine would but I get to it too fast for him to do it.. as for living near the beach.. I lived 7 miles from Cocoa Beach FL for 15 yrs and about the only time we went was when we had family down on vacation.. what is that about.. anyway.. glad you had a good time.. welcome back
Take Care

Yeah it's not easy at first but when you meet people etc it's fab!
BTW thanks for the compliment re the pic!
woohoo, more pics!!!!! :)
I like the beach a lot too. Then I became sick of it (I was raised in Tampa, 45 min from a great beach, and lived there for 17 yrs). So, now I've been in the mountains here in SC for 10 years. I'm sick of that and now would love to go back to the beach :)
I'm with you on the men, pick up after yourself thing. Hey, good news for you and your future Alex clone: not only does he pick up after himself but he also insists on doing the vacuuming and mopping!
Grant - What bothers me more is when something rubs against your leg in the water and you don't know what it is. That will produce a girly scream from me instanteously.
Cakes - I know...eeeeeeeewwwww!
Lisa - Exactly. Fat chance conning him into taking out the garbage if he won't add his own rubbish into the can!
Tammy - I've heard that from others who live near beaches. I hate to think that I wouldn't take advantage of my proximity!
Cherry - You're absolutely right.
JD - There are none in a bathing suit...if that's what you're looking for. Sadly, they were all destroyed *said with evil grin on face*
Kira - Stop it, you're killing me. He vacuums and mops too?!!!!!!!
geez, sounds like you had a boring time then. ;)
Not exactly boring ;) Yes, dear. More pics. As soon as I get some time.
Hey, I live in a house about an hour from the beach both ways...you go east and in an hour, you're at Cocoa Beach...you go west and in an hour, you're at some other beach (need I say I usually don't go to the west coast beaches???)
I got an idea...let's just retire and we can go back and forth from my house to your house! :)
PQ - I'm sooooooo there! Let's do it!!!
